What is the availability of design services?

Depending on the size of your project, the designer may meet in your home, at the store, or both. The interior is available after 5:00 for home visits as well as weekends by appointment. Home visits are included in your fees, but any mileage to and from the store is billed separately at $0.45 per mile.

How are interior design services billed?

Services are billed on an hourly rate of $75 per hour. Blocks of ten hours may be purchased at a reduced rate of $70 per hour.

Do I get loyalty points for my purchases through the program?

What are the steps for a customer who wants to begin using the service?
• Each client beings by reviewing and signing an interior design services contract. The contract spells out all the specific details of the program and gives you a clear idea of the costs and obligations.
• Then the designer sets up an appointment with you, either in your home or at the store. This appointment allows us to understand your focus, tastes and overall budget. Measurements are taken if needed and a timeline is established for your project.
• Based on your input and budget, our interior designer creates two looks for your review. The looks are a complete design option and include what ever we recommend to complete your look.

We’ve picked the look, now what happens?

Taylor Creek will order and hold your pieces until the entire grouping is ready to be sent to your home. Then we work with our delivery company to bring the look into your home, coordinating the furniture delivery and placing pieces in the rooms.

How many hours does an interior design project take?

Because of the variety of projects our customers request there is no simple answer to this question. Some projects, like a simple mantle design, take only two to three hours and can be started and finished in the store. Larger projects that involve a full room or even an entire home, take much longer and may require multiple visits both in-store and in your home. We recommend that clients purchases a block of 10 hours as a way to get the greatest value while giving themselves ample time to work with the designer.

I’ve already got furniture that I love, can you still help me?

Absolutely. While we have a large selection of furniture, that’s really only the beginning of the design process. We’ll work with your existing pieces, complementing them with new accessories, wall colors, room placement and floral, just to name a few of the ways we bring out your style.
I’m not starting from scratch on a room, I just need some fresh ideas, can you still help me?
Yes. There are hundreds of ways to spruce of the feel of any part of your home, no matter how big or small.

What are the qualifications of your designer?

Sarah LeClair is a graduate of the Harrington College of Design in Chicago and has a growing portfolio of experience from homes across northeast Wisconsin. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
• Sarah has worked with architects and builders on new construction in homes throughout the Green Bay area.

Taylor Creek’s Interior Design program employs a full interior designer. And we do so because we feel it gives our customers the greatest flexibility and the best resource for any design challenge.
